Forever Learning Kindergarten & Childcare is seeking an experienced, passionate and confident Lead Team Member (Diploma Qualified) to lead our Infant Room (8 weeks – 1 year old children).

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong early childhood professional who is passionate about infant development, responsive caregiving, relationship-based practice and creating calm, nurturing environments for our youngest learners.

We are looking for someone who can confidently lead a room, mentor other team members and build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.

About the Role

n

As the Infant Room Leader, you will:

n

n
- Lead the daily operations of our nursery room for children aged 8 weeks – 1 year
n
- Create a calm, nurturing and responsive environment that supports attachment and emotional wellbeing
n
- Design and implement meaningful learning experiences aligned with EYLF V2.0
n
- Guide and mentor Certificate III and Diploma teaching team members
n




- Build strong partnerships with families through open and respectful communication
n
- Maintain compliance with the NQF, NQS, Child Safe Standards and service policies
n
- Support children's routines including sleep, feeding, nappy care and transitions with consistency and sensitivity
n
- Contribute to reflective practice, programming and quality improvement
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher ACECQA approved qualification)
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading an Infant Room (8 weeks – 1 year old children)
n
- Strong understanding of infant development, attachment theory and responsive caregiving practices
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team workplace
