Salary: Up to $120k +Super - (Depending on experience) – Position level and salary package will reflect your skills, experience and seniority, and will be discussed upfront during the screening call.

We're looking for a Civil Design Engineer with a strong interest in design and project delivery who enjoys working across varied project types. We are open to considering various levels of experience, however ideally looking for Mid-Senior Level.This is a hands-on design position offering exposure to energy, land development, commercial and industrial developments, buildings and property infrastructure. You'll work on practical civil engineering solutions across a range of project types, giving you the opportunity to build broad technical experience rather than being restricted to one sector.

- Land development and subdivision

- Commercial and industrial developments

- Energy infrastructure

- Building and property developments

- Defence

- Car parks and access roads

- Stormwater and drainage

- Site civil works and infrastructure

- Civil works associated with building and multidisciplinary developments
n

Responsibilties:

n

n
- Preparing civil designs, drawings, calculations and technical documentation
n
- You'll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and construction.
n
- Designing roads, stormwater, drainage, car parks and site civil works
n
- Undertaking civil design using 12D and/or Civil 3D
n
- Completing MUSIC and DRAINS modelling
n
- Ensuring designs meet Australian Standards and relevant authority requirements
n
- Coordinating with clients, councils, drafters and other project stakeholders
n
- Working closely with structural, environmental and building services disciplines
n
- Managing project deliverables, timelines and design outcomes
n
- Supporting projects through concept, detailed design and delivery stages
n
- Undertaking design reviews and QA
n
- Assisting with fee proposals and technical submissions where required
n
- Attending site inspections and providing site support when required
n
- Contributing to the development of civil design processes and workflows

- For a more senior engineer, there will also be opportunities to lead design delivery, manage projects, mentor junior engineers, contribute to business development and help grow the Civil team.

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A Civil Engineering degree
n
- Relevant Australian civil engineering design experience
n
- Experience across one or more of land development, buildings, commercial/industrial, energy or infrastructure projects
n
- Proficiency in 12D and/or Civil 3D
n
- Experience with MUSIC and DRAINS
n
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and local authority requirements
n
- Good technical, communication and problem-solving skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
n
- A collaborative approach and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
n
- A current Australian driver's licence and access to a vehicle for site inspections
n
