We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide technology solutions within a complex and evolving environment. This position will be responsible for designing secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technology architectures while ensuring alignment with broader business and technology strategies.
n Working across infrastructure, cloud, digital workplace, and platform technologies, you will provide architectural leadership throughout the end-to-end solution lifecycle. You will collaborate with project teams, technology stakeholders, vendors, and senior leaders to develop architecture roadmaps, establish standards, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Designing fit-for-purpose technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
n
- Providing technical leadership and architectural governance across projects and operational teams.
n
- Developing and maintaining current and future-state architecture roadmaps.
n
- Driving consistency, standardization, and reuse through architectural patterns and technology frameworks.
n
- Ensuring solutions meet security, performance, availability, resilience, and operational requirements.
n
- Conducting technical risk and security assessments.
n
- Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate solution options and make strategic recommendations.
n
- Contributing to architecture practice maturity, standards development, and capability uplift through mentoring and coaching.
n




- Managing architecture deliverables across projects and supporting technology strategy development.
n

About You:

n

You are a highly collaborative and influential technology professional with a robust background in enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud architecture. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving challenging technical problems, and can confidently communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

n
- Extensive experience in Technical Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or a similar senior technology role.
n
- Demonstrated technical leadership within a medium to large enterprise environment.
n
- Solid understanding of architecture governance, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
n
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions across:

n
- Cloud platforms including Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
n
- Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
n
- Security architecture, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning.
n
- Monitoring, observability, and operational support frameworks.
n
- Enterprise database technologies including SQL Server and Oracle.
n
- Infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware, Citrix and related platforms.
n
- Network technologies including routing, SD-WAN, load balancing,



and security platforms.
n
- Enterprise application and end-user computing environments.
n
- IT Service Management processes and tools.
n
- Robust stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
n

Highly Regarded:

n
- Cloud architecture certifications from Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud.
n
- Experience working within a regulated industry such as financial services, insurance, banking, or superannuation.
n
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.
n
- Experience managing vendors, technology partners, and outsourced service providers.
n
- Familiarity with service delivery, contract management, and operational governance frameworks.
n
