About the Role

n

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant & Domestic Assistant to join our Community Care team in Kempsey.

n

This role involves providing person-centred support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

n

Key Responsibilities - Personal Care Assistant

n

Assist clients with personal care including hygiene, grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing

n

Support mobility, transfers, and maintain a safe home environment

n

Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, social support, and light domestic duties

n

Build respectful, trusting relationships that promote client choice and independence

n

Observe and report changes in clients' health or circumstances to your supervisor

n

Key Responsibilities - Domestic Assistant

n

Vacuuming, dusting and mopping all floors

n





Bathroom cleaning – shower, bath, toilet and vanity

n

Kitchen cleaning – washing dishes, wiping over all surfaces, cleaning out refrigerator & microwave

n

Wiping down shelves and tabletops

n

Organise drawers and closets

n

Changing of bed linen

n

Wiping windows

n

About You

n

You will bring:

n

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or equivalent

n

Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Worker

n

Current NSW Driver's Licence and reliable transport

n

A caring, patient, and respectful approach

n

Strong communication skills and skilled boundaries

n

Reliability, punctuality, and integrity

n

Mandatory Requirements

n

Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:

n

Current National Police Check

n

Relevant training or willingness to complete training (First Aid, Manual Handling, Infection Control, etc.)
