An exciting prospect has become available for a full-time Dental Assistant to join the team at Southern Smiles Dental in our Leongatha Clinic (experience not essential but preferred). As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a friendly and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments, materials and equipment
n
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
n
- Providing excellent patient care and customer service
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
n
- Ensuring the dental practice is clean, organised and well-stocked
n




- Undertaking administrative tasks as required
n

What we're looking for

n
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (not essential) or in a similar healthcare role
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, dentists and the wider team
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation
n
- Proficient in using dental equipment and technologies
n
- A caring, empathetic and patient-focused approach
n
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
n
