Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Rigger to join our team at in Darra, QLD for immediate start. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our crane fleet. As a Crane Operator / Rigger / Dogman, you will have the prospect to work on a variety of challenging construction projects across South East Queensland.

What you'll be doing

n

Operating cranes of various sizes and capacities in a safe and responsible manner

n

Performing pre-operational checks and maintaining detailed logs of crane activities

n

Rigging and unrigging loads, selecting appropriate slings and lifting equipment

n

Coordinating with site personnel to ensure the smooth and timely completion of lifts

n

Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

n

Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members

n

Participating in ongoing training and professional development

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Crane Operator / Rigger in the construction industry

n





Current High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for the operation of cranes

n

Current HR Licence

n

Strong knowledge of crane operation, rigging, and load charts

n

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

n

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

n

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

n

Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
