About the role

n

This is a part time role as a member of the food services team, working 3 x 7.5 hour shifts a week, commencing at 6am. You will be responsible for delivering meals to our branches, working in the freezer and adhering to our food safety standards, supporting the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and plating room.

n

The physically demanding role involves lifting, carrying and moving large quantities of food between kitchen, cool rooms and trucks, food preparation and cooking.

About you

You'll be physically fit (you'll be on your feet most of the day!), be able to work in cool spaces and have -

- High attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Permanent employees have the additional benefit of salary sacrificing arrangements. This allows for employees to sacrifice up to $15,900 (set by the ATO, as an additional tax-free portion) in approved household expenses (e.g. rent, mortgage, utilities, meals).

No weekends or nights, the current role includes 3 x 7.5 hour days across Monday to Friday, with opportunities to flex up on an ad hoc basis.

Experience:

n

n
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, warehousing, order packing, food handling or deliveries will be highly regarded.
n

n

Qualification:

n

n
- Driver Licence
n
- Along with a current Driver's License, you will be expected to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Food Safety Certificate.
n

n
