We have a permanent part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Anglican Care aged care service at Storm Village Taree.

You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your solid interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Shifts – 32 hours per fortnight, 2 x nights per week, 11pm – 7am

Role & Responsibilities
n
n
- Experience in palliative care, knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
n
- Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
n
- Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
n
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
n
- Current Drivers Licence
n
n
About you?

- Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
- Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
n
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
n
- Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
n
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
