Job Description
Providence Healthcare Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS services provider based in Mentone, Victoria. As our organisation continues to expand, we are seeking a full-time ICT Business Analyst to lead and support digital transformation initiatives that enhance participant outcomes, improve operational efficiency, strengthen clinical processes and ensure compliance with NDIS and other regulatory requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
n
n
- Analyse existing business processes across the business group and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity and service delivery through ICT solutions.
n
- Consult with management, healthcare professionals, operations staff and other stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements for ICT systems and digital transformation initiatives.
n
- Review workflows relating to appointments, billing, referrals, clinical documentation, rostering, participant management and workforce allocation, identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
n
- Support the implementation, integration and optimisation of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and NDIS software platforms, including Best Practice, Zedmed, SupportAbility and Lumary.
n
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams and as-is/to-be business models to support system design and business transformation initiatives.
n
- Develop strategic ICT governance documentation, including Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans and ICT policies to support organisational resilience and compliance.
n
- Evaluate existing ICT systems and recommend enhancements to support organisational growth, service quality and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
n
- Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and other business analysis documentation for system enhancements and software.
n
- Apply data and process modelling techniques to develop clear functional specifications for ICT system design, integration and implementation.
n
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors and technical teams to ensure ICT solutions meet business and operational requirements.
n
- Analyse organisational data and develop dashboards, performance reports and business intelligence solutions to support strategic planning and management decision-making.
n
- Evaluate and improve ICT systems supporting participant funding, service delivery, billing, incident management and compliance reporting.
n
- Ensure ICT solutions align with NDIS Practice Standards, privacy legislation and organisational governance requirements.
n
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT),
validate system functionality and support the successful deployment and implementation of ICT solutions.
n
- Develop user documentation, training materials and standard operating procedures, and deliver user training to facilitate the effective adoption of new ICT systems and business processes.
n
- Prepare analytical reports, feasibility studies and business cases to support management in evaluating ICT initiatives and investment decisions.
n
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to management throughout ICT projects and act as a central point of reference for business systems analysis and digital transformation initiatives.

Skills and experience expected include:
n
n
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or a closely related discipline.
n
- At least one year of full time experience in a similar ICT Business Analyst role.
n
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and ICT solution implementation.
n
- Experience with healthcare or NDIS management systems, including SupportAbility, Lumary, Best Practice or Zedmed, will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
