- Provide safe, caring, and culturally appropriate support tailored to each client's strengths and needs.

- Assist with personal care, domestic tasks (including yard work), social support, and transport as per shift and support plans.

- Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours while maintaining client dignity.

- Respect and maintain client and staff confidentiality.

Operational Duties:

- Follow daily shift plans and support documents accurately.
n
- Maintain a clean, secure, and compliant environment following OH&S; standards.
n
- Identify and manage risks and hazards during duties.
n

- Uphold GLDS values, policies, and service agreements with external providers.

- Promote effective communication within the team.

Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain accurate records including client notes, communication books, and reports.

- Support data collection and reporting processes in line with organisational standards.

- Attend meetings, supervision, and training as directed.

- Perform shift duties as rostered.

- Assist with other tasks and special duties when required

Skill & Experience

n

At least one year of experience in working with complex and high care clients. We prefer candiadtes with a qualification that is highly relevant to the role of a support worker (eg, Cert iii, Cert IV, Diploma in community services, etcc...)
