The Opportunity
n
We are looking for an Software Engineer to join our Digital team and play a key role in designing, supporting and modernising enterprise integration solutions across a complex technology landscape.
n
In this hands‐on role, you will design, develop and support integration solutions while helping drive Mirvac's integration platform evolution. Our current integration landscape is heavily AWS-based, and over the coming years we will be transitioning to a Hybrid Integration Platform leveraging both AWS-native services and Workato. As such, you'll play a key role in supporting existing AWS-hosted integrations while contributing to future migration and modernisation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise integration solutions.
n
- Build and maintain integrations using iPaaS platforms and custom development frameworks.
n
- Support production services running on integration and AWS-hosted platforms.
n
- Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues and integration failures.
n
- Contribute to platform modernisation and migration initiatives.
n
- Develop and support REST APIs, event-driven integrations and microservices-based solutions.
n
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.
n
- Participate in solution design, technical reviews and code reviews.
n
n
About You
n
You are an experienced Integration Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for building modern, cloud-based integration solutions.
n
n
- 7+ years' experience in enterprise integration design, development and support.
n
- Strong experience working with AWS-based integration solutions. As our current integration environment is predominantly AWS-native and our future‐state architecture will combine AWS and Workato, candidates must be comfortable developing, supporting and troubleshooting integrations deployed within AWS environments.
n
- Hands‐on experience with integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, Kumologica, IBM ACE or similar.
n
- Strong understanding of integration patterns including APIs, event‐driven architecture, messaging, batch processing and microservices.
n
- Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Cognito, IAM, CloudWatch and related cloud‐native integration services.
n
- Solid experience working within CI/CD environments, including GitHub Actions, automated deployment pipelines and release management.
n
- Excellent problem‐solving, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
n

- Workato development and custom connector creation.

- Kumologica development and support.
n
- Integration platform migration and modernisation programs.
n
- Supporting and migrating AWS-based integration platforms.

- AI‐assisted engineering and specification‐driven development practices.
