As our Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice, fostering collaboration, and ensuring compliance with legislative and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level procurement advice and support to management and stakeholders,
ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and governance requirements while driving continuous improvement in procurement practices and outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate strategic procurement planning, contract management and governance outcomes.
- Coordinate, allocate and prioritise work across the team, providing guidance, mentoring and technical support to staff while ensuring service standards and deadlines are met.
- Undertake research into complex procurement issues, providing sound advice, clear analysis and accurate reporting to support decision-making and implementation.
- Contribute to the development of procurement capability across the organisation by coaching, sharing knowledge and promoting best-practice procurement and contract management principles.
Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 Queensland Government Procurement Certification (Diploma in Government - Procurement and Contracting)
- Knowledge and experience in applying procurement-related policies, procedures or frameworks preferably in a government or public sector environment.
- Experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
