Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable Subcontract Kitchen Cabinet "Knock-Up" Assembler to join our Victorian team through the Geelong to Warnambool area.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently across multiple building sites.
n
About the Role
n
As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for preparing kitchens for installation by pre-assembling cabinets, drawers and hardware on-site before our installation teams complete the final fit-off.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Pre-assembling flat-pack kitchen cabinetry ready for installation
n
- Building and squaring cabinets to manufacturer specifications
n
- Installing drawers, runners, hinges and internal hardware
n
- Checking components against plans and identifying any missing or damaged items
n
- Maintaining a clean,
organised and safe work area
n
- Completing required paperwork and job documentation
n
- Communicating regularly with the Site Installation Supervisor regarding job progress or issues
n
- Representing Claytons professionally on customer building sites
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be successful you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience assembling kitchen cabinetry, furniture or flat-pack joinery
n
- Ability to confidently use battery-operated power tools
n
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
n
- Ability to work independently while managing your own workload
n
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
n
- Current Construction White Card
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Own reliable transport suitable for travelling between building sites
n
- Own basic hand and battery tools preferred
n
- ABN and appropriate insurances (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
n
