Your Role

n

As a Senior/Principal Consultant, you will provide advanced geological advisory services and training in the field of resource geology. You will play a leadership role in the delivery of high-quality consulting outcomes, supporting both client success and the continued growth of our APAC business.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Leading complex resource estimations, audits, technical reviews, due diligence assignments, and operational improvement studies.

n

Providing senior-level advisory input to clients on best practice approaches in resource geology, geological modelling, and estimation governance.

n

Managing consulting projects end-to-end, including scope definition, execution oversight, client engagement, and delivery of high-quality technical outputs.

n





Driving business development through strong client relationships, opportunity identification, and thought leadership within your technical area.

n

Delivering training courses and mentoring internal team members and external professionals, contributing to capability uplift across the industry.

n

The role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the APAC region. While you will work autonomously, you will be part of a highly collaborative team. Some local and international travel will be required.

Your Skills and Experience

n

To be successful in this role, you should have:

n

Over 10 years of experience in the mining industry, with solid technical expertise in resource geology.

n

A professional qualification in geology or a related discipline.

n

Experience across a variety of commodities, with both exploration and production exposure highly valued.

n

Strong software skills in packages such as Datamine, Supervisor, and Isatis, or a willingness to learn.

n

A broad professional network and strong reputation in the mining sector.

n

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

n

Previous experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded).

n

A strong work ethic, commitment to delivery, and a passion for innovation and improvement in the industry.
