Optio6 Talent Partners is proud to be exclusively partnering with Lever Law to appoint an experienced Property Lawyer to its growing Sunshine Coast team.
n
Lever Law is a modern boutique firm based in Twin Waters, with an established reputation for delivering practical, client-focused legal services. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a capable Property Lawyer who enjoys taking ownership of matters, developing trusted client relationships and contributing to a collaborative team.
n
Ideally, you will have at least 3 years PAE in property law. However, if you have 2 years PAE and strong Queensland property and conveyancing experience, we would also like to hear from you.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working alongside experienced conveyancers and a supportive legal team, you will enjoy genuine autonomy, regular client contact and exposure to a broad range of residential and commercial property matters.
n
Your work will include:
n
n
- Residential and commercial conveyancing, from pre-contract advice through to settlement
n
- Preparing and reviewing contracts and Form 2 Seller Disclosure Statements
n
- Property development matters, including subdivisions, disclosure documentation and off-the-plan sales and purchases
n
- Transfers involving manufactured homes, marina berths and retirement village leases
n
- Property transfers, including related-party transactions and transfers pursuant to Court Orders
n
- General property law advice, including transfer duty concessions and exemptions
n
- Property finance matters, including mortgages and loan documentation
n
n
About You
n
To succeed in this position, you will ideally bring:
n
n
- At least 3 years PAE in property law,
although applicants with 2 years PAE and strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply
n
- Demonstrated experience in Queensland residential and commercial conveyancing
n
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience using PEXA, legal practice management systems and Queensland Titles Office eLodgement
n
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other legal technology
n
- An understanding of current AML/CTF requirements relevant to property transactions
n
- Experience with property finance matters, including mortgages and loan documentation
n
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to positive client experiences
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage matters effectively
n
- A thoughtful and thorough approach to legal work
n
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the team
n
n
Experience using Smokeball would be advantageous, not essential
n
