We have an exciting opportunity to join the Asahi team as a Warehouse Operator at our Heathwood Distribution Centre.

n

Working in a fast-paced FMCG warehouse environment, you'll play a key role in accurately picking and preparing customer orders to ensure our products are delivered safely and on time. Using voice-picking technology and material handling equipment, you'll contribute to a high-performing team while maintaining quality, safety and operational standards.

n

Please note: This position is currently operating on day shift (6:00am - 2:00pm); however, flexibility to work alternative shifts as required to meet business needs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Accurately pick customer orders using voice-picking technology and EPJs
n
- Build, wrap and prepare pallets for dispatch
n
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products and packaging meet required standards
n
- Safely handle stock, including damaged goods and glass products
n
- Follow GMP, warehouse procedures and safe work practices
n
- Report hazards, incidents and safety concerns
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
- Support team objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous warehouse or order picking experience, along with:

n

n
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution,



manufacturing or FMCG environment
n
- Previous voice-picking experience or exposure to warehouse management systems
n
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality
n
- A strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
n
- Positive problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively
n
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
n
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
n
- The physical capability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
n
- A current Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential
n
