- $48.23/hr (Day Shift)

- $62.69/hr (Night Shift)

Join one of Australia's leading steel manufacturers in a hands‐on operational role within the Rod Mill. This position operates in a fast‐paced 24/7 production environment and requires strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety.

Rosters are provided 6 months in advance, allowing you to confidently plan personal time.

n

The Role – Rod Mill Operations

n

You will be trained across key areas of the Rod Mill, including:

n

n
- Operate and monitor Coil Former operations
n
- Transport and stack finished steel coils using a 16T forklift
n
- Bundle and tag products to customer specifications
n
- Maintain continuous production flow and product quality
n
- Conduct basic quality checks and inspections in line with Australian Standards
n
- Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
n
- Complete accurate shift handovers and reporting
n




- Maintain high housekeeping standards across the work area
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Valid LF Forklift Licence (essential)
n
- Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test
n
- Experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments (steel highly regarded)
n
- Strong safety focus and commitment to team standards
n
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 environment
n
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (essential – applicants without full working rights will not be considered)
n

- 2 Days (6:00am – 6:00pm)
n
- 2 Nights (6:00pm – 6:00am)
n
- 5 Days Off
n

Week 2

- 3 Days (6:00am – 6:00pm)

- 1 Day Off
n

Week 3

- 3 Nights (6:00pm – 6:00am)

- 4 Days Off
n
- 6-month roster visibility provided
