Live-In Caretaker Couple | Luxury Rainforest Retreat

Location: Secrets on the Lake, Montville, Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Employment Type: Casual (30 hrs per week or when required) | Live-In | Long-Term Position | Must be available over 7 day rostering system (Saturday and Sundays are required).

Secrets on the Lake is an award-winning luxury rainforest retreat overlooking beautiful Lake Baroon in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Home to 13 handcrafted treehouses, an award-winning restaurant, and one of the region's most sought-after wedding venues, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.

We are seeking an experienced, highly capable live-in caretaker couple to become an integral part of our accommodation, weddings and housekeeping team.

n

This is not a traditional caretaker role. We are looking for a professional couple who can confidently assist across multiple areas of the business, providing exceptional guest service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the property.

About the Role

n

Together, you will become part of our accommodation and weddings team, providing support across guest services, administration, housekeeping, weddings and after-hours caretaking.

n

One or both applicants must have strong administration and computer skills,



while both should be happy to work wherever required to ensure the smooth operation of the property.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting with accommodation enquiries, reservations and guest communications
n
- Reception duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs
n
- General office administration and computer-based tasks
n
- Assisting with social media content and online engagement
n
- Housekeeping, laundry and presentation of accommodation when required
n
- Preparing and delivering breakfasts, BBQ hampers and pre-prepared meals
n
- Assisting with wedding day operations and supporting the Wedding Coordinator
n
- Closing reception each afternoon
n
- Providing after-hours guest assistance and responding to emergencies
n
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation and presentation of the property
n
- Working collaboratively across all departments to maintain the exceptional standards Secrets on the Lake is known for.

We're looking for a couple with experience across most or all of the following:

n

n
- Administration and office management
n
- Weddings, events or hospitality (an RSA is essential, or the willingness to obtain one immediately)
n
- Guest services and reception
n
- Hospitality and customer service
n




- Social media knowledge and confidence using social platforms
n
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn booking systems
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Experience with reservation systems, tourism software or hospitality booking platforms will be highly regarded.
n
