The Role
n
The key purpose of the role is to plan, execute, and implement all projects to deliver intended business outcomes – on time, on budget, and within quality parameters and scope according to business priorities. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to work with a great team.
n
- Strategy and Governance - In line with the IT Project Management Office Framework, develop, build, report and govern the progress of all projects.
n
- Assess, prioritise and resolve/mitigate all project risks as they are encountered.
n
- Represent the project at project governance and inter-department forums.
n
- Align projects to project methodology compliance standards (PMBOK) set by the framework.
n
- Business Relationship Management - Develop communication plans and interfaces to actively engage business partners.
n
- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
n
- Communicate and report on project progress to key stakeholders.
n
- Consult stakeholders on project and process impact on the business.
n
- Project Delivery – Define and create project plans for projects implementation.
n
- Manage all aspects of the project life cycle including operational checkpoint activities. and work with team members to oversee all phases of project completion.
n
- Resource management across all projects.
n
- Contribute to the transformation and improvement program of the IT Team.
n
Skills & Experience
n
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in delivering technical projects to support business solutions
n
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
n
- Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (Visio, MS Project, Project Server etc)
n
- Certified in PMI or PRINCE2 methodology or equivalent.
n
- Change management experience is highly regarded.
n
- Experience in FMCG and/or manufacturing highly desirable
n
- Tertiary level degree in information technology or relevant industry experience.
n
- The selection process will include interviews, online and functional testing as well as internal reference checking.
n
