As a senior member of our dynamic and highly skilled Medical Imaging team, you will lead by example in delivering advanced, high-quality imaging services across key areas, helping drive exceptional diagnostic and treatment outcomes for the Sunshine Coast Health Service (SCH). In your role as a Sonographer Senior or Senior Radiographer/Sonographer, you will provide clinical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff, while actively contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Your leadership will help shape a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth, ensuring both patients and colleagues benefit from your knowledge and commitment.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Deliver independent high-level Radiography/Sonography clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
n
- Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
n
- Provide high level clinical advice,
education and influence towards a common patient‐centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
n
- Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Radiography/Sonography practitioners and students as delegated.
n

Remuneration value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary between $4912.70 - $5286.40 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary full or part time positions available for 12 months, hours negotiable). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.
