The Role
n
This is a broad and commercially focused in-house legal role supporting strategic corporate and business initiatives. You will act as a trusted adviser across the organisation, providing timely and pragmatic legal advice while helping the business navigate regulatory complexity and manage risk effectively.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to key projects, commercial arrangements and governance initiatives, ensuring the organisation remains well-positioned in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Provide legal advice across a wide range of corporate, commercial and strategic matters
n
- Support business units and leadership in making informed decisions within an appropriate risk framework
n
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and strategic contracts
n
- Monitor and advise on regulatory developments impacting financial services and payments
n
- Assist with embedding regulatory change and strengthening governance frameworks
n
- Contribute to legal operations, process improvements and policy development
n
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and act as a trusted legal partner
n

About You
n
n
- Qualified legal practitioner with experience in corporate and/or commercial law
n
- Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment
n
- Exposure to payments, fintech or highly regulated industries will be highly regarded
n
- Commercially minded with strong legal judgement and problem-solving capability
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
n
- Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
n
