Forklift Co is a family-owned forklift and telehandler hire, sales and service business based in Luscombe on the northern Gold Coast.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Hand to join our team.

n

Whether you have experience in a yard, warehouse, transport or construction environment, or you're looking to start a new career, we'd love to hear from you. No forklift industry experience is required. If you're reliable, hardworking and willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

n

This is a permanent full-time, Monday to Friday position where no two days are the same. You'll be working with modern equipment, learning new skills and becoming an important part of a close-knit team.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Washing, detailing and preparing forklifts and telehandlers for hire and sale
n
- Loading and unloading trucks
n
- Operating forklifts and moving equipment safely around the yard (training provided if required)
n
- Carrying out basic pre-delivery inspections and reporting any damage or maintenance issues
n
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and protected
n
- Assisting our workshop technician with general workshop duties
n




- Collecting and delivering parts and equipment
n
- Stock control and general yard duties
n

About you

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence (C Class)
n
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
n
- Enjoys hands‐on, physical work
n
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
n
- Works well independently and as part of a small team
n
- Has unrestricted working rights in Australia
n

n

An LF Forklift Licence, mechanical aptitude or experience working with machinery will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

n
