Our client is a well-established private building certification consultancy based in Burleigh Heads, specialising in high-end residential homes and bespoke custom builds across South East Queensland. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service, they're looking to add an experienced Certifier to their growing team

If you enjoy working on quality residential projects, building strong relationships with clients and builders, and want to be part of a small, collaborative office, this could be the opportunity for you.
n About the Role You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of residential projects from assessment through to final certification, working closely with homeowners, builders, architects and designers.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Assess Class 1a and 10 building applications.
n
- Conduct mandatory building inspections throughout construction.
n
- Issue building approvals and certification documentation.
n
- Provide technical advice on the NCC and Queensland legislation.
n
- Liaise with builders, clients, architects and consultants.
n
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant legislation and building standards.
n




- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the certification process.
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Current Queensland Level 3 Building Certifier licence (essential).
n
- Experience assessing and inspecting residential building projects.
n
- Solid knowledge of the NCC and Queensland building legislation.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
n
- A carpentry background will be highly regarded.
n
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
