Registered Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist - Private Practice

Gearing Up Psychology has been an established provider of psychological services since 2015 in the Newcastle and Maitland area.

We have a private practice in the beautiful town of Lorn, Maitland in the Hunter region of NSW and are seeking registered and/or clinical psychologists to join our team, to help with the referral load and to play a vital role in providing quality psychological services in our local community.

Contractor positions

Above average and competitive remuneration + superannuation commensurate with qualifications and experience. Further details / options discussed during interview.

Tasks & Responsibilities
n
Provide quality, evidence based psychological assessments to referred clients using a broad range of evidence based assessment tools.
n
Provide therapeutic sessions using evidence based interventions.
n
Complete electronic client notes and reports to an appropriate standard as outlined by the APS code of ethics / Supervisor standards.
n
Maintain accurate and confidential client records including progress notes, assessments and reports
n
Write letters to other health professionals and external agencies where necessary
n
Ability to act in a professional manner and work collaboratively with the team.
n
Qualifications & Experience - Essential
n
Fully AHPRA registered Psychologist
n
Active ABN
n
Relevant insurance including public liability and indemnity insurance
n
Working with children check
n
n
- A beautiful, bright, quiet room in the heart of Lorn, Maitland NSW
n
- Access to wide range of psychometric and neuropsychological assessment materials (WISC, WAIS, WIAT and behavioural questionnaires)
n
- Administrative / reception to take care of payments, bookings and front desk
n
- Access to practice Telehealth subscription for provision of Telehealth services.
n
- Flexible working options
