Software Engineer (AI + .NET) | Sydney-based

Nuage has partnered with an established technology company in the risk management space that's investing heavily in AI to transform the way it operates and delivers value to customers.

n

They're looking for a Junior Engineer to help build and grow their AI capability. You'll work closely with the founders to develop AI-powered tools, automate business processes, and solve real problems that have a measurable impact across the business.

You'll help build internal AI platforms, job management tools, dashboards, reporting, document automation, and integrations with other business systems. This is a hands‐on role where you'll have genuine ownership and the opportunity to shape how AI is adopted across the company.

What we're looking for

n

n
- Commercial or personal experience building AI applications, AI automations, or agentic AI solutions.
n
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI workflows, or similar technologies.
n
- Hands‐on experience with Python and AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, OpenAI, or similar platforms.
n
- Working knowledge of SQL and APIs.
n
- Exposure to .NET, TypeScript, AWS, Vercel, Xero integrations, or similar technologies is a bonus.
n
- A GitHub profile, portfolio, or side projects that showcase what you've built.
n
- A curious, builder mindset with a willingness to learn.
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
