The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Fitter who has stepped off the tools and moved into a coordinator/supervisor role.

n

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the safe and productive operation of our workshop. You will provide hands-on leadership to the fitter team, and drive a strong safety culture.

n

You will be expected to lead from the front and assist on the tools when required.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Allocate weekly/daily jobs and manage schedules.

n

Work with the Parts Coordinator to ensure parts and materials are ready.

n

Conduct quality checks as required.

n





Maintain workshop organisation and safety standards.

n

Process orders, coordinate deliveries and maintain job records and documentation.

n

Supervise and support the team with clear direction and daily priorities.

n

Support & mentor the apprentices.

n

Skills & Experience

n

2 years of experience leading a team of Fitters

n

Valid Driver's Licence

n

Construction White Card

n

Preferred tickets (not essential): Forklift

n
