Reporting to the Area Building Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Every day is different. You'll have the autonomy to manage your sites, build strong relationships with trades and customers, and play a pivotal role in delivering homes that change lives
n
- Lead and coordinate residential construction projects from commencement through to handover
n
- Ensure every home is built to Metricon's exceptional quality standards
n
- Manage site safety, compliance, scheduling and overall site performance
n
- Build strong relationships with customers throughout their building journey
n
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to achieve production and quality targets
n
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues
n
- Ensure compliance with OH&S; requirements, building regulations, QA systems, and company processes
n
- Deliver homes on time, defect free and with an outstanding customer experience; and
n
- Hand over keys to delighted homeowners—a moment you'll never get tired of.

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential building industry (essential)
n
- Medium density experience would be an advantage
n
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
n
- Demonstrated project management and organisational skills
n
- Solid understanding of OH&S; regulations and quality assurance systems
n
- The ability to build trusted relationships with trades, suppliers, and stakeholders
n
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
n
- Experience managing client expectations and resolving issues professionally
n
- Knowledge of new home contracts and construction documentation
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes; and
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
