Registered Nurse (Division 1) – General Practice Part-Time Fixed Term (12 Months) | 3 Days per Week Potential Extension and Opportunity for Additional Maternity Leave Cover

Ashburton Family Practice is a contemporary, privately billed medical practice located in the leafy suburb of Ashburton. We are proud to provide high-quality patient care within a supportive and professional team environment. We are seeking an experienced, friendly and motivated Division 1 Registered Nurse to join our team.

General Practice Nursing experience is essential, and experience with Best Practice software would be highly regarded. This fixed-term position is for 3 days per week, on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

n

With the possibility of extension and additional hours to provide maternity leave cover for another member of our nursing team. No evenings or weekends required.

Working alongside our GPs and administration team, responsibilities include: Chronic Disease Management and Care Plans Health Assessments

n





Childhood and Adult Immunisations Recall and Reminder Management Triage and Clinical Assessment

n

Wound Care and Injury Management Assisting GPs with Minor Procedures Treatment

n

Room Management Stock Control and Ordering

n

Infection Prevention and Control Patient Education and Health Promotion Supporting quality improvement initiatives and maintaining high clinical standards

n

Essential Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) Current CPR Certificate

n

Accredited Nurse Immuniser Current Working with Children Check

n

Previous General Practice Nursing experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Excellent communication and organisational skills Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and outcomes Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Applicants must provide at least two current professional referees who can be contacted verbally.
