Working under the guidance of Lead Educators, the successful candidate will support the daily care, learning, development and wellbeing of children.

- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
n
- Supporting children's daily routines, development and positive behaviour.
n
- Building respectful and supportive relationships with children and families.
n
- Contributing to observations, learning records and program reflections.
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean, organised and welcoming learning environment.
n
- Working collaboratively with Lead Educators and other team members.
n
- Following centre policies, child-safety requirements and relevant regulations.
n
- Contributing to team meetings and ongoing quality improvement.
n

About You
n
n
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a higher ACECQA-approved qualification.
n
- At least 12 months of full time relevant experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in an early childhood education and care setting.
n
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
n
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check.
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain them before commencing.
n
- Knowledge of child-safety and mandatory-reporting responsibilities.
n
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
n
- Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting children.
n

Applicants who hold, or are currently working towards, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care are encouraged to apply.
