Tendering Engineer (Proposals / BIDS)

n Tendering Engineer required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company who work within a variety of industries. This role also offers a clear progression route for someone looking to step into a managerial level role.
n This role would suit candidates with experience in tendering focused role within an engineering setting.
n The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tendering process through the preparation of high-quality tenders, proposals and pricing schedules.



You will work alongside a team of four within the sales team which will continue to grow with opportunity to step into a leadership role.

The Tendering Engineer Role:

- Preparation of tenders, technical proposals and pricing schedules for bespoke engineering solutions
n
- Interpret customer specifications, drawings and tender documents
n
- Confirmation of compliance and identification of risks
n
- Produce clear cost estimates, aligning with company margins and commercial guidelines
n
- Management of BID deadlines and support negotiations and project management
n

The Tender Engineer Candidate:

n

n
- Experience in a similar role – tendering, proposals, bids, sales etc.
n
- Engineering background – industrial
n
- Experience with Microsoft Office
n
