Job Description

The Pacific Cigar Company is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, NSW. This is a full-time position based at our distribution facility, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, contributing to the seamless movement of stock and maintaining the high standards of organisation and safety that Pacific Cigar Company is known for. This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.

Key responsibilities

n

Receiving, unloading and checking incoming stock for accuracy and condition

n

Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations

n

Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers

n

Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting stock counts as required

n

Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and responsibly

n

Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised to maintain a safe working environment

n

Following all health and safety procedures and protocols at all times

n

Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet operational deadlines

n

Reporting any damage, discrepancies or safety concerns to management immediately

n

What we're looking for

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly, including lifting and moving stock

n

Attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively

n





Reliability and punctuality with a proven commitment to attendance

n

Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and record information accurately

n

A genuine commitment to health and safety in the workplace

n

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors

n

Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience (preferred but not essential)
