What we are looking for

... an industrial electrician to join our teams based out of Malabar. Your day-to-day activities include performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region.

n

Must Have...

n

n
- Electrical Licence
n
- An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
n
- Australian Drivers Licence
n
- Must be physically fit
n

Conditions

n

n
- Electrical licence allowances $69.49 per week and various other allowances included.
n
- Rates per hour $51.72
n
- Additonal $2 paid ontop for working onsite at Malabar Treatment Plant.
n
- Afternoon shift is paid at 15% + on-call has standby allowance of $111 per day
n

n

Asset types requiring maintenance may include:

n

n
- UV equipment
n
- Cathodic protection
n
- Chemical dosing equipment experience
n
- Wastewater and water pumping stations and associated equipment
n
- Low pressure and vacuum systems
n
- Mixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators and valves
n
- Generator maintenance servicing, connections during outages
n
- Wastewater treatment plants
n

n

As part of the Operations Maintenance team, your day-to-day activities include:

n

n
- Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies
n
- Perform planned maintenance,



ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment
n
- Responsive maintenance to equipment faults on shift
n
- Regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
n
- Fault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenance
n
- Installation and testing of recent equipment
n
- General day to day maintenance activities
n

n

Who Youare...

n

n
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of SCADA
n
- Pump maintenance, electric motors
n
- Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures
n
- Instrumentation qualifications will be viewed favourably
n

n

Operational information:

n

n
- Permanent – fulltime role Mon to Fri on day shift 7am start
n
- Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime
n
- 1 week every 8 weeks – afternoon shift 3:30 start, with an 'on-call' component and weekend roster
n
