Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Emerald branch, you will be part of a team that values safety, reliability and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

What you will be doing:

n

n
- Deliver steel products safely to customers using an HR truck and, where applicable, a truck-mounted crane
n
- Load and unload materials, including operating a vehicle loading (fixed) crane
n
- Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery sites
n
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures
n
- Comply with all relevant Australian heavy vehicle, WHS and transport regulations, policies and procedures
n
- Assist with general warehouse operations as required, including picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles and operating equipment such as forklifts
n

Working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate on offer is $37 plus remote location allowance of $25,000 p.a.

- HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence and Forklift ticket essential
n
- Strong customer service skills
n
- A safety-first mindset
n
- No prior steel/product knowledge required
n
- Experience with forklift operation and load restraint,



along with a Dogging licence, will be highly regarded but is not essential
