Fashion Designer / Clothing Patternmaker – Modest Wear

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Design modest wear garments including dresses, abayas, tops, skirts, and other apparel.
n
- Develop and modify garment patterns for production.
n
- Create technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
n
- Prepare and adjust samples to achieve correct fit and quality.
n
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, and garment finishes.
n
- Work with manufacturers and suppliers to bring designs into production.
n
- Identify and resolve garment construction and fitting issues.
n
- Maintain accurate pattern and design records.
n

Skills and experience required

n

n
- Experience in fashion design and clothing pattern making.
n
- Solid knowledge of garment construction, fitting, and production methods.
n
- Ability to translate design concepts into production-ready garments.
n
- Experience with pattern-making techniques and needs to be able to use CLO 3D software.
n
