About the Role
n
We are seeking for individuals experienced in Production and Maintenance Management to lead our manufacturing and maintenance operations at our Sydney site.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing production operations while driving equipment reliability, product quality, and on-time delivery. You'll lead production and maintenance teams, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and play an significant role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.
n
Your Day-to-Day
n
n
- Lead, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams.
n
- Drive a solid health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the site.
n
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
n
- Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
n
- Improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
n
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Drive productivity improvements, waste reduction, and process optimisation.
n
- Oversee workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
n
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
n
- Manage maintenance resources, contractors, spare parts, and asset reliability programs.
n

Skills and Experiences
n
What You'll Bring to the Role
n
n
- Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
n
- Proven experience managing both production and maintenance functions.
n
- Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Operations-related tertiary qualification.
n
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, maintenance strategies, and operational excellence.
n
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM methodologies.
n
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
n
- Strong understanding of quality systems, production planning, and operational KPIs.
n
- Experience within HVAC, refrigeration, sheet metal, or a related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
n
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
