Dental Assistant - Orthodontics (Part Time)

Dental Assistant | Chairside + Front Desk | Part Time Wed & Thu | Orthodontic Practice, South Brisbane

Mars Orthodontics is a modern boutique specialist orthodontic practice at Southpoint, South Brisbane, 1 minute from South Bank train station and 3 minutes from the busway. We're a small, close-knit team with a fully digital workflow: iTero 3D scanning, in-house 3D printing and digital imaging.

The role. Permanent part-time, Wednesdays 9am to 5pm and Thursdays 9am to 7pm (our late evening), around 16 hours a week, with additional shifts regularly offered by agreement and genuine room for your hours to grow. This is a cross-trained position for an experienced DA who is just as confident at the front of house:

Chairside assisting across orthodontic treatments with our doctors

n

iTero scanning, intraoral photos and records

n

Sterilisation and infection control to protocol

n

Running the front desk on your rostered days: phones, online enquiries, booking,



payments and end-of-day reconciliation in Ortho2 Edge

n

Stepping chairside as cover when our Senior Dental Assistant is away, so both sides of the practice stay strong

n

About you

n

Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or at least 12 months' chairside experience, essential

n

Orthodontic experience highly regarded

n

Warm and unflappable with kids, teens and parents

n

Reliable on Wednesdays and Thursdays year-round, including Thursday evenings

n
