About the Role

n

As an Excavator Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering safe and productive production outcomes. Working alongside an experienced production team, you'll operate large mining equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate 120t+ excavators and D9+ dozers in a production mining environment
n




- Safely and efficiently load haul trucks to maximise production
n
- Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
n
- Identify and report equipment faults and maintenance requirements
n
- Work closely with Supervisors and Production crews to achieve daily production targets
n
- Follow mine plans, site procedures, and operational standards
n
- Maintain a solid commitment to safety, housekeeping, and equipment reliability
n

About You

n

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating 120t+ excavators and D9+ dozers in an open-cut mining environment
n
- Current RII competencies and/or a verifiable operating history
n
- Sound knowledge of safe excavation and truck loading practices
n
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
- Reliable attendance and a positive, proactive attitude
n
- The ability to perform in a fast-paced production mining environment
n
