Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a large-scale Commonwealth ICT workplace in Canberra.

You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for enhancing business intelligence and reporting capabilities, developing advanced Power BI solutions and delivering meaningful dashboards and visualisations for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

n

- Develop and enhance advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
n
- Build complex reporting solutions using DAX
n
- Design interactive data visualisations, including financial and executive dashboards
n
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and information requirements
n
- Develop and maintain BI artefacts, reports and visualisations
n
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
n
- Manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement
n

About you

n

n
- Approximately 5-10 years' experience developing advanced Power BI reports




n
- Strong Power BI and DAX capability
n
- Demonstrated experience delivering business intelligence and reporting solutions
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Previous experience within Defence or another Commonwealth Government environment is highly regarded
n
- NV1 security clearance required
n
- Working arrangement: On-site
n
- Initial contract through to 30 June 2027
n
- Potential for long-term extensions
n
