Light Vehicle Mechanic | Intermediate | Automotive Workshop

Seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician to efficiently handle vehicle repairs and uphold workshop standards within a well-established automotive service environment. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, based in a regional area of New South Wales.

About the Light Vehicle Mechanic role

- Must hold trade qualifications with proven experience in mechanical repairs and servicing of light vehicles.

- Salary range: $80,000 $120,000 annually.
n
- Location: regional New South Wales.

Key responsibilities
n

- Oversee daily workshop workflow to ensure quality and timeliness of vehicle services.
n
- Carry out repairs and servicing on light and heavy vehicles as required.
n
- Complete vehicle inspections to meet registration standards with training provided if needed.
n
- Maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business.
n
- Manage stock by monitoring, ordering, and verifying workshop supplies.
n
- Report any mechanical or operational issues promptly to supervisors.
