A Locum Dental Hygienist/OHT is needed in Gardenvale to cover a maternity leave position for 6 months starting on the 5th of October 2026 to April 2027. The role is for a full time position 5 days a week 8.30am - 5.30 pm. However we are open to hiring two hygienist with flexible part-time hours (2 to 3 days per week) to fill the position.

Key Responsibilities

Provide gentle, high-quality preventative dental care and periodontal treatments.

Take dental radiographs and apply topical fluoride or fissure sealants.
n
Educate patients on daily oral hygiene habits and home care routines.
n
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient treatment records.

Requirements
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist.
n
Valid Radiation Licence (VIC).
n
We offer competitive hourly rates of $60-70 per hour (depending on experience) and a supportive team setting providing general and preventative care.
