Our client, Kumars property management is looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener to join their team.

n

Tasks Include:

n

n
- Preparing and maintaining garden beds, soil areas and landscape sites for planting and construction activities
n
- Propagating, planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers, turf and decorative plants
n
- Preparing lawn and outdoor areas by spreading soil, levelling surfaces and laying natural and instant turf
n
- Maintaining landscaped areas through mowing, trimming, edging, watering, fertilising and weed control
n
- Pruning trees, hedges and shrubs, and installing plant support, mulch and irrigation materials where required
n
- Assisting with landscape layout works, measuring outdoor areas and selecting suitable plants and landscaping materials
n
- Installing softscape and hardscape landscaping features including turf, garden edging, retaining walls and paving
n
- Constructing and maintaining gravel paths, paved areas, fencing,



garden structures and outdoor landscape features
n
- Inspecting plants and trees to identify damage, disease, pest issues and maintenance requirements
n
- Operating landscaping tools and equipment including whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and lawn machinery safely
n
- Applying fertilisers, herbicides and pest control treatments in accordance with landscaping and safety requirements
n
- Removing damaged plants, overgrown vegetation and unwanted trees as part of garden and landscape maintenance works

Requirements:

n

n
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or relevant industry experience.
n
- Minimum 1 year of relevant landscaping or garden maintenance experience.
n
- Robust knowledge of planting, turf preparation, pruning and general landscape maintenance.
n
- Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment and perform physical outdoor duties.
n
- Good communication, teamwork and time management skills with commitment to workplace safety.
