Risk Strategies is a growing consultancy that helps organisations create safer, healthier and more resilient workplaces. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a commercially minded leader to lead and grow our Workers Compensation & Injury Management practice.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role. In addition to leading the practice, you will maintain a portfolio of clients and contribute to billable work, providing strategic advice and support across workers compensation and injury management matters.

About the Role

n

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the performance, growth and profitability of the WC & IM practice.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Growing practice revenue, profitability and market presence through client development and service expansion.
n
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing team to achieve utilisation, quality and financial targets.
n
- Building and expanding client relationships while identifying and securing current business opportunities.
n




- Providing strategic advice across workers compensation, injury management and return to work matters.
n
- Maintain a client portfolio and achieve billable utilisation targets while balancing leadership, growth and practice management responsibilities.
n
- Managing practice performance, quality, compliance and operational excellence.
n

About You

You are a commercially focused leader with experience managing teams, clients and business performance.

You will bring:

- Significant experience in Workers Compensation, Injury Management, Occupational Rehabilitation or Consulting.
n
- Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, client growth and financial outcomes.

- Strong commercial acumen and business development capability.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- A passion for developing people and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
