We are looking for an experienced Technical Director Security – SCEC to lead and grow our Defence and Security business across Australia.

n

The Opportunity

n

As a Technical Director, you will be a recognised leader in security engineering, providing trusted advice to Defence, government and critical infrastructure clients on some of Australia's most complex and security‐sensitive projects.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Leading the delivery of Defence, secure government and critical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
n
- Providing expert SCEC and security engineering advice across complex, high‐security environments.
n
- Building trusted relationships with Defence clients, industry partners and key stakeholders.
n
- Driving technical excellence, governance and assurance across major programmes.
n
- Supporting business growth through strategic pursuits, client engagement and market development.
n
- Mentoring and developing engineers and technical specialists across the business.
n
- Helping shape the future direction of Mott MacDonald's Defence and Security offering.
n

About You

n

You will be an established security professional with a passion for delivering technically challenging projects and building long‐term client relationships.

n

n
- Current SCEC Endorsed Security Consultant accreditation (Security Zone Consultant).
n
- Extensive experience delivering Defence, secure government,



critical infrastructure or other security‐sensitive projects.
n
- Strong knowledge of Defence security requirements, SCEC standards and security engineering principles.
n
- A track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and business development skills.
n
- An active NV1 security clearance (or higher).
n
