Job Description

BKH Systems is seeking a motivated and practical Structural or Civil Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of temporary works and construction engineering projects, including jumpform systems, climbing systems, formwork, access systems, falsework, and other engineered construction solutions used on major building and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent drafting and design skills, and who enjoys working closely with construction teams to develop practical, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design and document temporary works systems and construction methodologies.
n
- Produce engineering calculations, detailed drawings and technical documentation.
n
- Develop formwork, jumpform, hoist, screen, falsework and access system designs.
n
- Review existing designs and identify practical improvements.
n

About You

n

n
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
n
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
n




- Experience producing engineering drawings and technical documentation.Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
n
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and relevant temporary works design requirements.
n
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
n
- A practical, construction-focused approach to engineering.
n

Highly Regarded

n

- Experience with jumpform systems.
n
- Experience in formwork, falsework, scaffolding, temporary works, access systems, or construction engineering.
n
- Experience working on high-rise construction projects.
n
- Experience with Space Gass or similar design analysis software.
n
- Experience with or working knowledge of FEA.
n
