Academic Operations and Events Coordinator

About the Role
n
The Academic Operations and Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the operational, administrative and promotional activities of the Higher Education Private Providers Quality Network (HEPP-QN).
n
Primary responsibilities include:
n
n
- Provide efficient administration of projects assigned including and not limited to HEPP-QN membership and network operations.
n
- Maintain an effective online presence for assigned projects including but not limited to coordinate HEPP-QN communications and promotional activities.
n
- Coordinate the delivery of workshops including but not limited to HEPP-QN workshops and professional development activities.
n
- Coordinate the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of conferences,forums, workshops and sector engagement events to provide a high-quality experience for members and stakeholders.
n
- Provide administrative coordination for quality initiatives, publications and strategic projects as directed by the Provost.
n
- Provide high-level administrative support to activities and fostereffective stakeholder relationships.
n
n
Selection Criteria
n
Qualifications and Professional Standing:
n
n
- Committed Christian involved in a local congregation.
n
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, BusinessAdministration, Public Relations or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience.
n
- Demonstrated experience coordinating conferences, events or professional developmentactivities.
n
- Experience providing high-level administrative support in a complex organisational environment, managing multiple priorities and coordinating projects to meet deadlines.
n
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Experience using event management systems, website content management systems or online collaboration platforms.
n
- Experience in the higher education, education, not-for-profit or membership associationsector is desirable.
n
- Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
n
