JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil projects across Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking multiple experienced Truck & Dog Driver to join our team. If you are a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in productive haulage and supporting civil operations, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable local contractor.

Role Overview:

n

You will be responsible for operating truck and dog combinations across our civil projects, transporting materials such as gravel, sand, and spoil while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

n

n
- Operating truck & dog combinations for material haulage across civil project sites
n
- Transporting quarry materials, fill, and spoil as directed
n
- Safely loading and unloading materials
n




- Managing tipping operations in line with site requirements
n
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance
n
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
n
- Complying with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
n
- Completing required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and dockets
n

Job Requirements:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating truck & dog combinations
n
- Valid HC or MC driver's licence (minimum requirement)
n
- Strong understanding of load restraint and safe tipping practices
n
- Knowledge of fatigue management and transport compliance
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
