Research Assistant/Research Fellow – Transforming Healthcare Impact Area

Salary & Position Details
n
A$87,266.00 – A$148,023.00 per annum for a fixed‐term 12‐month full‐time role. Salary levels: Level A – A$87,266 to A$118,416 p.a. (pro‐rata for part‐time); Level B – A$124,656 to A$148,023 p.a. (pro‐rata for part‐time).

Faculty: Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences (MDHS). Role type: Full Time.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Plan and conduct research activities, including ethics applications, literature reviews, and time‐in‐motion studies.
n
- Facilitate collaboration by interviewing hospital staff to identify task allocation opportunities and supporting model ranking with stakeholders.
n
- Support project administration: schedule meetings, take minutes, and communicate action items arising from meetings.
n
- Disseminate findings through academic publications, seminars, and professional body engagement.
n
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Completed or near completion of a relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., Master of Public Health, PhD).
n
- Experience preparing and submitting ethics applications and revisions.
n
- Solid organisational skills, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines independently.
n
- Evidence of teamwork and collegiality in a research setting.
n
- Attention to detail and initiative in following up actions without supervision.
n
- Proactive, organised researcher capable of working collaboratively to enhance hospital work environments.
n
