Swimming Pool Technician to Clark Rubber Capalaba

n

Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its Pool, foam and rubber categories. A fantastic opportunity exists for an On-Site Pool Technician to join the Clark Rubber Capalaba team. While predominantly this role is based in field, some retail shop work may be required.

n

The successful candidate will:

n

n
- Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work in a team environment when required
n
- Have excellent communication skills including solid written and spoken English
n
- Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers
n
- Be physically fit as this position involves some heavy lifting and manual handling (such as pumps and salt)
n
- Take pride in their work
n
- Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge.
n

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
- General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing domestic swimming pools
n
- Routine maintenance,



troubleshooting and repair of swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners
n
- Sales and installation of new equipment
n
- Quote generation and follow up
n
- Schedule and inventory management.
n
- Achieve KPIs and sales budgets
n

n

Candidates should have:

n

n
- A current manual driver's license with a good driving record
n
- Retail Sales experience preferred but not essential.
n
- Some experience in onsite swimming pool service preferred but not essential and/or maintenance
n
- Great customer service skills and working with teams
n
- Previous plumbing, electrical or gas experience would be an advantage but not essential
n
- Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
n
- Enjoy outdoors and engaging with customers as needed
n
