About the role

n

We are seeking an Interior Designer and Sales qualified to join our team at our Boronia VIC location on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to combine your creative design skills with client-facing sales expertise. You will play a pivotal role in helping customers envision their dream bathrooms, kitchen and tiled spaces whilst driving sales and building lasting client relationships. Your design acumen and ability to translate customer needs into beautiful, functional solutions will be central to our business success.

Key responsibilities

n

Consult with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints

n

Create detailed interior design concepts and visualisations for bathroom and tiling projects

n

Provide expert recommendations on tile selections, colour schemes, layouts, and bathroom fixtures

n

Prepare design proposals and quotations for potential clients

n

Guide clients through the selection process, explaining design rationale and product perks

n

Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to project completion

n

Liaise with installation teams to ensure designs are executed to specification

n

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

n

Stay updated with current design trends, industry innovations, and product developments

n





Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business

n

What we're looking for

n

Formal qualification or proven experience in interior design, with a focus on bathroom Kitchen and tiling design

n

Demonstrated expertise in space planning, colour theory, materials, and design principles

n

Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar visualisation tools

n

Strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

n

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to diverse clients

n

Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their vision

n

Knowledge of tiling products, bathroom fixtures, and current market offerings

n

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under deadlines

n

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

n

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design presentation tools

n

Preferred: Experience in the tiling, bathroom or kitchen industry, knowledge of installation techniques, or previous retail design showroom experience
