Our client is a high profile food processing business servicing both the retail sector and international fast food chains etc.
n
At this time we are looking for an experienced Electrical MaintenanceTechnician to assist with the preventative and breakdown maintenance of on site machinery and facilities for a food industry producer.
n
On a daily basis your duties will include but not be limited to:
n
n
- Perform preventative maintenance duties as directed and to schedule.
n
- Conduct machinery installations and upgrades in conjunction with other trades and Project Managers
n
- Attend to production breakdowns and facilities maintenance when the need arises.
n
- Conduct robust shift change overs and associated reporting.
n
- Identify and act on any potential opportunity for improvements and efficiencies.
n
- Operate within strict OH&S; HACCP regulations typical of a food processing workplace
n
n
It is envisaged that the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria:
n
n
- Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience in a food or beverage processing environment.
n
- QLD A Grade Electrical licence is a must.
n
- Strong experience with industrial electrical, mechatronic and automation systems
n
- Solid fault finding skills via HMI / PLC interface.
n
- Project management skills highly desirable
n
- Experience with industrial Maintenance (CMMS) software such as MEX, SAP etc would be an advantage.
n
- You can work collaboratively with other trades and in-house Maintenance Fitters etc
n
- Experience within protein based environments such as Poultry, Meat, Fish etc would be highly advantageous.
